My December Goals | 2017

It’s the last month of 2017, but that doesn’t it’s time to sit back, relax, and stop being productive. It’s one more month to hit those goals hard and make some moves. I have spent some time thinking about the things that I would like to achieve in this final month. It was loose musings, though (except for a couple of concrete things).

However, after reading other bloggers’ December goals, I was inspired to be more concrete with what I’d like to achieve. In doing so, I’ve decided to share that with all of you and hopefully spread the inspiration.

Goal 1: Lose Two Inches from My Waist
I am not waiting till next year to achieve the fitness levels I want in my life. Over last couple of years, I have regained the weight that I originally lost. Granted it took a while for it all to come back, but it’s here, and I don’t want it to be. So my fitness game will be strong, and I will the be lean and muscular Marisol I know I can be.

Goal 2: Train BJJ At Least Twice a Week
This will definitely help with my first goal, but if you’ve seen my latest video, then you know that it’s taken me a while to find a new bjj gym. I’ve missed brazilian jiu jitsu. I signed an unlimited contract, so I will be there at least twice a week if not more!

Goal 3: Complete Blogmas
Last year, I missed some days. This year, it is my goal to publish a new post every single day of blogmas. It might not seem like much of a goal, but thinking of and researching post ideas, writing them, editing them, doing the photography for them is A LOT of work. Enjoyable, but a lot. I will feel very proud once my 25th post is out and promoted.

Goal 4: Teach Myself How To Use Photoshop
Back in September, I bought Photoshop Elements with the goal to teach myself how to use it. The combination of school and attempting to grow this platform and others has stalled that process. Once finals are over, I plan on spending some time on YouTube looking Photoshop Elements tutorials. I’ve been wanting to learn Photoshop for a long time. Not only do I think that it will up my blogging game, but it will also be a great addition on my resume.

They might only be four goals, but they are pretty hefty! I’m hopeful, though, and determined. Do you have any goals for this December?

Stay productive,

TheWritingSol

  1. These are beautiful goals! Best of luck with Photoshop; I love using editing tools like that. I had Photoshop for a while, but never used it because it was too basic, lol. I’d love to find a really good one to use someday!
