FabFitFun 2018 Winter Box Review

The FabFitFun winter box appeared on my doorstep last week like an early Christmas present. I opened it with excitement and have used some of the products for an even more in depth review.

BEARPAW Combo Set

Starting off cozy with this headband and glove set.  They are beyond adorable and upon feeling them, it’s evident that they are such good quality. I, however, have very short hair that will clash with the headband, so I have decided to gift this set to my grandma. She has been wanting a new pair of gloves, and I’m sure she will like these. Given their versatility, she’ll probably be wearing around the house too.

Mark & Graham Colorblock Throw

Even though this throw is beautiful, it is definitely meant for a southern californian climate- temperate. It’s very thin, so the throw is just enough to keep you feeling cozy without overheating.

H HALSTON Jewelry Portfolio

This jewelry portfolio is everything I didn’t know I needed. As someone who has moved around a lot (and is looking to move again), transporting jewelry has always been a challenge. Jewelry boxes are cumbersome and baggies allow for your jewelry to get severely tangled. This portfolio will solve all of that, and I think another.

Sherrie Matthews Acupuncture Jade Stone Roller

I must admit that I am highly skeptical of this tool’s anti-aging abilities. Per its website, “It’s a technique that has been used for centuries in Chinese Medicine for facial rejuvenation for its ability to minimize the appearance of fine lines, reduce inflammation and puffiness around the eyes, in addition to improving lymphatic drainage and restoring facial skin tone.”

I don’t many fine lines yet, and if I get a good night’s sleep, my eyes won’t be puffy. I have noticed one benefit, however- a reminder to relax my jaw. Through the accumulation of stress, I have noticed that  clench my jaw, which puts pressure on my teeth. Using the stone roller has been a daily reminder to relax.

Blaq Eye Masks with Hyaluronic Acid

I am excited about these! Since I started my new job, I haven’t been getting much sleep or even quality sleep, so there have been bags under my eyes a little bit more consistently. I can’t wait to try these out and see how well they work.

Anthropologie x Mer-Sea & Co. Sea Whip Body Cream in Coconut Sugar

If you are like me and have sensitivities to various scents, then this lotion may very well be deceiving. At first sniff, it seemed very mild and pleasant. I even used some on my hands. As time passed, however, the scent started to irritate my nose, with the potential of giving me a headache. Needless to say, my mom has a new body lotion.

Retail price: $24

AHAVA Hydration Cream Mask

I love this mask. I’ve used it as a hand lotion and as a night cream. My skin is so incredibly dry that its deep hydration is exactly what it needs. Happy I received this product.

Retail price: $33

Thrive Causemetics Brilliant Eye™ Brightener in Stella

I had never heard of this makeup company before, but they have such a great message and mission to help others through their products that I am interested in learning more about them. I have yet to use this eye brightener, but I do like the fact that it acts as both an eyeliner and highlighter.

Another great box by FabFitFun, and I even got a Christmas gift for someone out of it. Have you tried the FabFitFun subscription?

Happy Holidays,

    1. I know that if you already have a subscription, you can order extra boxes as gifts. If you don’t, I’m not sure, but their customer service should be able to help.
