FabFitFun Summer Box Review – 2018

With a new season comes a new FabFitFun subscription box, and I couldn’t be more excited. For every box, you’re allowed to customize your order to a certain degree. Some selections include an option to choose one item among two or three. I’ve always done this beforehand. FabFitFun typically sends an email notification; however, something must have gone wrong. I must have missed the email, never received it, or accidentally deleted it, so my Summer box was truly a mystery.

 

Thankfully, I’m still really happy with what I got, so let’s get into it.

Summer & Rose Beach Towel

This towel is absolutely beautiful and so soft. It looks like there was also a pineapple print option, but I’m really happy I got the palm/floral print. It is more my style. All I need now is to actually make time to go to the beach.

COOLA Classic Face SPF 50 White Tea

The perfect pairing for the beach towel. I’ve been using spf underneath my makeup since I moved back to Los Angeles. It’s amazing how strong the sun is over here. After living in NorCal for five year, I completely forgot. Wearing SPF is a necessity, and I’m happy to try this one out.

Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator & ELEMIS Papaya Enzyme Peel

I have become a bit more serious when it comes to my skincare. I like to use natural and organic products, and I have begun using face masks more consistently. Since it is a relatively new step in my routine, I’m always excited to try new products. However, only one of these products would have been enough.

Jaboneria Marianella Body Caviar

This sounds bougie and too expensive for my budget, so thank you, FabFitFun, for sending it to me. I love a good body scrub, and this one sounds fabulous.

Pier 1 Imports Marble Ring Dish

This is beautiful and so quintessentially blogger chic. I have been wanting something like this for my earrings. I’ve been keeping the ones I use regularly in a mug, which is annoying and impractical. This is definitely an upgrade.

Wildlife Conservation Society Straw

This isn’t reusable, but a nice touch and a good reminder to be more green.

tarte Sex Kitten Eyeliner

Liquid eyeliner is where it’s at, and to be honest, I’m too cheap to buy anything other than Elf at this point (especially when it works so well). Therefore, this liquid liner by Tarte is such a treat.

tarte Pro To Go Eyeshadow Palette

Another beautiful eye shadow palette sent to me by the FabFitFun crew. Because them and these boxes, my eye shadow “collection” has seriously evolved. I typically keep my look simple and stick to just eyeliner, but now, I’m inspired to incorporate more eye looks.

FOREO LUNA! fofo

This is the most intriguing item to come in the FabFitFun Summer Box. Per the description on the site, “it is powered by Bluetooth technology and advanced skin sensors to create a totally personalized profile.” I’m curious about what this will say about my skin. I know that I already have dry skin, but maybe I’ll learn something new.
