I had never considered having a journal dedicated to fitness. I already have a journal that I write in from time to time, and I have a plethora of notebooks because I’m addicted to them! I always have to wander through that aisle.
I happened upon this notebook, and I had to have it. It combines wellness with fitness. Plenty of fitness bloggers and vloggers are out there talking about fitness as a journey. Part, if not most, of that journey occurs within yourself, and not in the gym.
Each day, this journal provides a guided entry that begins with gratitude, a goal, and an affirmation about your body.
That last part is crucial. Working to transform your body can be a daunting task. Often the impetus is based in the desire to change something about yourself that you do not like, which can lead to negative feelings. Drowning in negativity is not the path of forward progress. Creating a daily affirmation about yourself just might be the trick to you keep positive and motivated.
It also comes with sections to plan out your fitness for the day. I typically do this in a more free form kind of way, so I don’t how much I’ll use those sections.
I do like the space for reflection and the fitness tips and quotes that each entry comes with.
I am looking forward to this journal having a very positive impact on my own fitness journey. I’ll keep you posted!
