- What is your favorite Christmas movie(s)?
Does the Nightmare before Christmas count? I love Jack Skellington!
2. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Growing up we had presents on both days. See questions 7 for more. Now, however, not so much.
3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory?
I don’t have a favorite Christmas memory. I just don’t have the best memory in general, lol. However, one thing I seem to not forget is the the Christmas that my parents bought my siblings and I the Nintendo 64. We wanted one so badly, and they kept telling us that it was too expensive. But then… we opened up that one gift, and there it was!
4. Favorite festive food?
Buñuelos! These are a Mexican treat typically made from fried, flattened out dough and covered in cinnamon and sugar. By no means are these my favorite dessert. It is tradition, though, that my grandma and I makes every Christmas, and that is one of the things that I enjoy most about this holiday season.
5. Favorite Christmas gift?
This one is difficult! I am fortunate enough to have received a lot of great stuff. #soloved
6. Favorite Christmas scent?
Hmmm, this is probably referring to candles, but I don’t purchase many. I DO love the smell of real Christmas trees, though? Is that weird?
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
As a child, my family divvied up Christmas Eve and Christmas. This meant that on Christmas Eve my dad’s side of the family would gather at one of my uncle’s houses and celebrate. Then on Christmas day, All of my mom’s side would come over to celebrate.
8. What tops your tree?
NOTHING. This is my tree.
These are the Christmas vibes in my apartment. That frugal life (since I’m not a student anymore, I can’t say that student life ToT).
9. As a kid, what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I don’t think I ever asked for anything crazy. Maybe once I asked for a pony
10. What’s the best part of about Christmas for you?
This one is super is super easy. It’s spending time with my family. I don’t get to see my extended family much anymore, so it’s nice to spend time with everyone and catch up. 🙂
